Colin Done
An experienced Management Development trainer with an Experiential Learning background; a behaviourally focused facilitator with a pragmatic approach to learning application and real concern for the growth of the individual.
Colin's ability to build close coaching relationships enables him to "get under the skin" of the issues he is dealing with. His recent work has included running an extended management development programme of a series of short modules supported by 1:1 coaching, advanced coaching skills courses and team development modules for a variety of clients. His specific interest is to focus on the behavioural aspects of Individuals within Teams, using a range of tools to design team and personal development interventions that are fun, thought provoking and above all useful on a day to day basis.
He enjoys the "blended" approach of experiential inputs mixed with team role analysis and behavioural modelling. In recent years, he has concentrated on delivering a particular range of programmes to enhance the Leadership and Coaching skills of junior to middle managers in heavy industries such as construction and ship building.

His early career was spent in the Construction Industry as a skilled tradesman and then in management roles. His observations of "how not to do it" engendered an interest in the skills of people management and a change of direction with a desire to learn more about people. Following five years experience working for Management Training organisations in the Lake District, Colin joined ChangeMaker in 1985. His responsibilities over the years have included running training programmes, marketing and client liaison, the management of our northern office, all aspects of course training, design and delivery and the management of trainers and facilitators. Colin's role continues as a client manager and associate.
Now his children have left home he finds more time to try to keep fit through a mixture of running, squash and healthy eating.
